We are happy to announce that the ASTC 2011 workshop has been converted to a full-day workshop and will take place on Friday, July 15th. In the next few days, the accepted papers and programme will be made available from the workshop'sweb site.
For people whose participation in the UMAP conference does not depend on the acceptance of their ASTC submission, please note that the conference early-bird registration is now open.

Due to a number of requests we have received, the deadline for the submission of papers for the ASTC2011 workshop has been extended by one week, to April 22nd.
If you have not submitted an abstract, but would still be interested in submitting a paper, please contact the workshop organizers.
Prof. Gloria Mark to deliver keynote speech

We are delighted to announce that Prof. Gloria Mark (University of California, Irvine, USA), a world renowned expert in the area of Computer-Supported Cooperative Work, has accepted our invitation to deliver the keynote speech at the ASTC 2011 workshop.
Prof. Mark's work addresses multi-tasking in the workplace, distributed work and technology use, technology adoption, the impact of Web 2.0 technologies, and technology use in environmental crises.
More information about her talk will be made available shortly.
